Jeffrey V. Laurito is the founder of Laurito & Laurito, LLC.  He established his practice in 1973.  In 1997, the practice was reincorporated under the name Jeffrey V. Laurito, LLC.  In 2002, Jeff’s daughter Erin joined the firm and created Laurito & Laurito, LLC.  Jeff has dedicated his career to representing clients in real estate and mortgage banking matters, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, title and related litigation matters. While Jeff maintains his title agent status and participates in firm operations, he has elected to inactive his law license.

Jeff is a 1967 graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in history.  Jeff graduated from the California Western School of Law in 1973.

Jeff’s number one priority has always been his wife and two daughters.  In his spare time, Jeff enjoys his lifelong hobby of rebuilding classic cars and scooters and spending time with his four beautiful granddaughters. Jeff has elected to inactivate his law license.

Erin M. Laurito is the owner and Managing Partner of Laurito & Laurito, LLC. Erin leads the day-to-day operations of the firm, and manages the firm’s associates. Erin began her career representing the mortgage servicing industry in 2002, and continues to guide the firm through the industry’s ever changing regulatory landscape.

Erin graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1999 with a degree in business management/entrepreneurship, graduating Magna Sum Laude. She graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2002.

Erin has served as a board member on the Legal League 100 Advisory Board since its inception. She is also a member of Women in Legal Leadership (WILL) and is a regular speaker and panelist at numerous industry events as well as a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Association.

With two young daughters, Erin has little spare time, but enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with friends and family and cooking a nice meal now and then.

Nicholaus O'Bryan

Joshua J. Epling is the lead foreclosure attorney with Laurito & Laurito, LLC. He joined the firm in 2008 with several years of experience representing creditors in foreclosure matters throughout the state of Ohio. Josh is results-oriented and known for his positive attitude, excellent communications skills and southern charm. Josh has also represented a variety of clients in extensive real estate litigation cases.

Josh was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2002 and the Ohio Bar in 2005. He graduated from Marshall University in 1999 (Bring on the Herd!) and the University of Dayton School of Law in 2002, where he and Erin became fast friends. Josh also attends numerous industry conferences and events throughout the country.

When not practicing law, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. He is also an avid football and soccer fan.

Brian S. Jackson is the lead litigation attorney with Laurito & Laurito, LLC. Brian joined the firm in 2016 with almost 20 years of litigation experience in the areas of creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, civil litigation, title insurance defense and cases involving complex laws and regulations governing loan origination and loan servicing. He also gained extensive experience in legal research and technologies while providing consultative services and training to the largest law firms in the country.

Brian earned a degree in International Affairs from the University of Cincinnati in 1993 and his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1997. Brian has written and conducted numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars and is a former board member for the Center for Children and Families, a non-profit organization providing psychiatric services to children.

Brian is the proud father of teenage twins and enjoys golf, scuba diving, and fishing. Brian also makes a mean smoked brisket, and often shares dishes with everyone in the office.

Nicholas E. O’Bryan is the lead bankruptcy and eviction attorney with Laurito & Laurito, LLC. Nick was welcomed to the firm in 2012, making numerous operational improvements to these practice areas. Nick joined the firm with a history of litigation experience and an incredibly fast learning curve.

Nick obtained a degree in finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Dayton in 2004. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2007. Nick has enjoyed expanding his industry education through traveling to numerous industry events and conferences.

In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and his two kids and is an avid fan of the Purdue Boilermakers. Nick is also a board member of the Wendy Ward Foundation and dedicates a great deal of his free time to fighting breast cancer.

September L. Hall is the firm’s Operations Manager, joining the firm in 1997 as a paralegal and working her way to head manager in 2008. As the firm’s Operations Manager, September oversees and holds the reins for many areas including but not limited to client relations, quality control, human resources and regulatory compliance. September’s many strengths have continuously provided measurable results to the firm’s clients.

September earned a degree in paralegal studies/law firm management from Miami Jacobs College in 1997. September immersed herself in the industry, attending countless events over her tenure. She is a member of Women in Legal Leadership (WILL) and is a regular speaker at numerous trainings and conference events.

September and her husband are newly empty-nesters with their daughter now in college. She enjoys Pilates, any cocktail made with St. Germain and spending time with her cocker spaniel named Cuddles and sphynx named Bruce Wayne.
